  • Valencia Health Services, a nurse managed health center serving mostly Hispanic and African American children and adolescents in the Mission District in San Francisco.  Available for student clinical placements for Public Health and Clinical Care Management
  • Diversity in Nursing Leadership Program.  Provides financial support and clinical and research opportunities for graduate students
  • Head Start Placements for community primary care for pregnant women, infants and children
Research interests:
  • Program development/evaluation in community health for underserved populations
  • Needs assessments for acute and community based agencies
  • Evaluate and analyze data, and make policy recommendations to improve the quality of early child care and education

  • Head Start - Oversight for Head Start and Early Head Start for City and County of San Francisco
  • Wired Collaboration - Collaboration with WiRED to support the Director in fundraising, networking and links with campus to promote the international health work.  wiredInternational.org
  • Valencia Health Services - Collaboration with UCSF School of Nursing Department of Family Health Care Nursing for primary care site to serve pediatric, teen, and young adult population of mostly Hispanic and African American population.  valenciaHealth.com
